Mike Ramsden
Fittings / Lessons
Mike turned professional in 1995 after 4 years of college golf. While playing around the world, including time on both the Web.Com Tour as well as the PGA Tour-Canada, Mike decided his time in golf was better served as a golf professional and not a “professional golfer.” He began with the PGA of America in 1997 and continues that journey to this day as we never truly learn all there is to know about our great game. “A good deal of what I know about the golf swing came from two mentors, without whom I would not be where I am today. The first was Harvie Ward, one of the finest amateurs to ever play the game. My time with him in Pinehurst was invaluable. The second is a close friend who still advises and helps me to this day. Both men instilled in me the importance of working with each student using their individual skill levels and abilities to gain the most improvement and enjoyment from the game.” ~ Mike

Matt Cram-Smith
Golf Professional
A native of Australia, Matt has been in the professional golf industry since 2005. After turning professional Matt played primarily on the Tarheel Tour. In 2008 he became an Assistant Professional at Wild Dunes Resort. After 7 years of leading the Buccaneers program, Matt joined the team at Lowcountry Custom Golf to continue his career as a golf professional. “I thoroughly enjoy helping players learn how to get the most out of their games. There isn’t one swing for everyone and the challenge of helping players figure out their best moves is really fun for me. I believe good fundamentals and using our bodies efficiently are the keys to maximizing our swing potential and building consistency. I especially love teaching the short game more than anything else and helping players save shots on and around the greens.“ ~ Matt

Madison Coleman

Madison is a native of South Carolina. She played collegiate golf at Charleston Southern University where she helped lead her team to two Big South Conference Championships. Following her graduation, she played on LPGA’s development tour, otherwise known as the Symetra Tour. In 2014 she also served as the First Assistant Professional at Coosaw Country Club and in 2015 was recruited to become the Head Professional at Berkeley Country Club. Through her course experiences, Madison’s love of teaching grew even more which propelled her to become an instructor for Lowcountry Custom Golf in 2017 and provide her the opportunity to work with all golfers and future golfers at all skill levels. In. 2022, Madison entered back into the field of competitive play and took home the 2022 Carolina’s PGA Women’s Championship and was recognized at the 2022 Carolina’s Peggy Kirk Bell Women’s Player of the Year. Madison’s philosophy on teaching is very relatable to any golfer at any skill level, “My teaching philosophy is to keep things simple and fun. The golf swing is complicated enough without us overthinking it. I believe proper set up and tempo are key elements that ensure everything else falls into place within the golf swing.” ~ Madison
